Billie "Bill" Joe Manley, 80, of Brazoria, TX passed away in the early morning hours of Saturday, March 21st 2015 after a short illness. Bill was born to FE and Mable Manley on October 24th 1934 in Ponca City, OK. Bill was a twin born last and one of eleven children. Bill married Marilyn May Meyer in Ponca City, OK on July 10th 1954.

Bill enjoyed a long career working well into his 70's. Some of his jobs included owning and managing three gas stations in Houston, as well as working as a machinist and Supervisor with Ingersoll-Rand and Union Pump. Bill enjoyed many hobbies such as building bird houses, mowing lawns and supervising any and all neighborhood projects, needed or not. He also enjoyed gardening, so much so that he tended to overwater his famous tomato plants. Bill was loved by everyone he met. His demeanor never fooled anyone; he had the biggest heart and was kind and caring to all. Humor aside, he will be missed greatly by his family and friends.

Bill is preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn May Manley and son Johnny Keith Manley; as well as his parents and nine siblings. Bill is survived by two sons, Dale Allen Manley (wife Martha); Mark Shannon Manley (wife Mary); and grandson Dale Allen "Skeet" Manley (wife Donette); one sister Georgia Joan Thompson.

A memorial service will be held at 10am on Saturday March 28th at Restwood Funeral Home.
